Community organizer, non-profit administrator, artist, educator, and designer.
Liv is currently working on his most recent project; LGBTQIA+ WORKSHOPS; a Queer Art workshop series focusing on art and activism. Among his current project, he is a sitting administrator of QueerCare Inc. and a Learning and Development Coordinator for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
He previously served as the Purchase Student Government Association President and Co-Director of The Multi graphic design conference. They have many years of experience advocating for the Transgender and gender-diverse community. Liv organized and moderated the Diversity Week panel for the Westchester County community and was a panelist for the Transgender Day of Resilience event hosted by Purchase College. Additionally, he organized and moderated the weekly mental health support group for Transgender and gender non-conforming students at Purchase College.
He holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Sculpture from SUNY at Purchase College. Liv Cocozza is also among the 2019 cohort for the Ethics of Color Artist Residency at Yale Norfolk.
His work in public health, higher education, and art have furthered his career in advocacy, education, and change. Liv is always striving to provide informed, positive, and transformative movements within the organizations he has worked with.
